Your voice. Your way.

A modern communication app for non-verbal adults. Selvo learns how you like to say things, so conversations with the world around you flow more easily.

Where traditional AAC helps someone say what they need, Selvo helps them say what they mean.

Pictures, context, and a few taps become words that sound like you. Selvo suggests. You choose. Nothing is spoken on your behalf.

How Selvo works

Two taps from anywhere to a spoken message.

More on how it works
  1. Pick a picture

Your own photos first: people, places, food, the things you talk about. Tiles stay where you put them.

  2. Choose your words

Selvo offers three ways to say it, in your style. Another brings three more. Incorrect teaches it.

  3. Speak

Out loud in a voice you chose, or turned to the listener in large type with Show.

Words that sound like you

A person is not a list of needs. Selvo learns how you make the joke, disagree with the plan, and ask how someone's day went, then offers it back fast enough to keep up with a conversation.

  • You choose every message that leaves the phone.
  • Saved phrases and tiles work offline.
  • Text size, contrast, theme, and speech rate live inside Selvo.

Built for adults

Nothing borrowed from a classroom or a clinic.

Identity

Personality comes through. Humor, opinion, warmth, and edge are features, not noise.

Autonomy

Suggestions are offered, never spoken on your behalf. You choose every message.

Dignity

Real photos, plain words, calm screens. Made for the person holding the phone.

Expression

Needs, yes, and also jokes, stories, disagreements, and affection.

Connection

Success is a better conversation, not a correct classification.

Accessibility

Works across speech, literacy, cognitive, and motor ability, and keeps working when the network does not.

Our story

It started with Lucas

When Lucas was 21, a brain aneurysm took his speech, his reading, and his writing. It did not take him. He is still the funniest person at the table, still particular about food, still the brother who teases you until you laugh. What changed is the distance between what he means and what the world can hear.

Helping someone get started?

Setup takes an afternoon, together. After that, the phone belongs to the person using it.
